Split bills, not friendships.

Rough splits and who-ate-what debates shortchange whoever paid. Upload receipts, fix deposits and subsidies in chat, then share one link so the whole table claims lines in real time — a collaborative, fair split everyone can see.

Activate your tab with Stripe. Settle with friends by bank transfer, Monzo, or whatever you already use.

Built for how London actually eats out.

  • Friends & flatmates

Pubs, set menus, and shared plates without the chaos.

  • Work dinners

Per-head subsidies for some guests, full price for others.

  • Pre-paid deposits

Credit what you already put down so recovery matches what left your account.

  • Multi-bill nights

Food plus drinks, or more than one venue, on a single tab.

How it works

AI does the heavy lifting on the receipt; you steer it in chat. Then the table splits without spreadsheet trauma.

Analyse and review with AI
Upload photos or PDFs: AI extracts merchants, line items, and totals. Use the same chat to reconcile printed totals, service, deposits, subsidies, and who was there until the numbers match what you expect.
Everyone claims their items
Share one link. People pick their name, tap line items or quantities, and see a live running balance — including their share of service charge.
Share the link
Each tab gets a unique short URL you can text or drop in WhatsApp. Same link for the whole table; the host finishes review and can mark the tab settled when you agree.

AI analysis, AI review, you in the loop

Splitly reads bills with models, cross-checks totals and split logic, and keeps a conversational thread so you can correct the bill like you would with a sharp friend — before guests ever touch the link.

No app required
Send links that open in any modern browser. Guests join from their phone at the table — no downloads.
Live collaboration
Claims and totals update in real time so nobody argues about who picked the wine last.
Split by item & quantity
Assign food, drinks, shared plates, and multi-quantity lines (like 5× still water) with clear remainders until every unit is claimed.
Secure activation
The host confirms identity with email and pays a small one-time platform fee through Stripe to activate the tab — then shares the link.
AI bill analysis
Photograph paper or PDF receipts; AI pulls out merchants, every line, quantities, and service lines so you are not retyping the venue's maths.
AI-assisted totals & splits
The assistant reasons over subtotals, service, deposits, and how items should flow into each person's share — so obvious mismatches surface before you invite the group.
Chat to steer the bill
Describe deposits, per-head subsidies, or "that round was on the company" in plain language; the AI updates the structured tab so the ledger matches what actually happened.
UK service charge aware
Discretionary-style service applies to each person's portion. Individuals can opt out where appropriate — only their share changes.
Per-person subsidies
Model company contributions or exceptions (for example nine subsidised guests and one full-price plus-one) without breaking the maths.
Penny-accurate totals
Money is tracked in whole pence with remainder handling so rounded shares add up — no phantom pennies for whoever paid.

Real splits. Real stories.

Illustrative quotes for positioning — replace with customer stories when you have them.

Product lead, Shoreditch
We finally stopped Venmo-ing the wrong amount after Dishoom. Everyone could see the receipt and their line items.

Finance ops, Canary Wharf
The £50/head work perk used to break our spreadsheet. Splitly made the partial subsidy actually make sense.

Hospitality regular, Battersea
I hosted eight people and didn't have to be the bad guy with a calculator. They claimed, I reviewed, done.

Numbers you can defend

  • Integer pence end-to-end — no floating-point drift in the ledger.
  • Service charge and subsidies follow a documented order so finance can follow the trail.
  • Review surfaces unclaimed lines before you settle, so nothing quietly disappears.
  • Receipt files are bound to the extracted bill so what you saved matches what was processed.

Common questions

Does this replace my card payment?
Splitly produces an agreed, item-level split. You still settle with the host however you already would — bank transfer, Monzo request, cash, and so on.
What about optional service charge?
Each guest can opt out in the app where that applies; only their calculation changes. Everyone else stays on the same split logic.
Can the host fix mistakes after sharing?
Yes while the tab is active. After you mark it settled, the host can reopen for edits if something still needs to change.
Is my data safe?
Permissions are enforced on the server: hosts and guests see the same totals, but only the host can change other people's claims or finish review.
Who do I contact for support, a refund, or a charge on my card?
Email nerdcutletproductions@gmail.com for help with your account, billing, refunds, or any unexpected card charge. We aim to reply as soon as we can.
