Splitly charges the host a small one-time platform fee when they activate a tab — typically a percentage of the bill with a minimum and maximum cap (see checkout for the current numbers).

Guests join and claim items in the browser at no extra charge. Itemised splits, UK-style service handling, and review tools are included in that activation.
